Crinkle Vase

This vase was designed by Makoto Komatsu to appear exactly like a paper bag. It was produced by leveraging the ability of plaster molds to faithfully recreate a variety of surface textures. The design has received high praise throughout the world, such as being selected for the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
